Martha was very busy with preparations as Mary sat at the feet of Christ. When Martha complained about Mary, Jesus answered and said unto her, "Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her." (Luke 10:40-42.)
So many times and especially in weeks that I am so busy.. I forget to sit and his feet and listen.
Every time I see this picture it reminds to take a moment andcenter myself in Him.. Am I listening and waiting on him?
Now Martha's prep work was not wrong (it's important to plan--God plans) but her focus was off. When focus on serving Christ the busyness of life seems less important.

Okay here are the pictures -- I went to Exile Tattoo(whispering Danny) on Main Street in Kansas City and Robbie Lopez did the deed.. It didn't hurt.... that much .

my nose

Well , I am actually going to do it... I'm getting my nose pierced ..It's not impulse.
I've been talking about it for ever and finally I'm gonna stop being a wuss and do it..
I'll bring my camera and upload the pictures after the deed is done.
I haven't told my mother. Ever since I was little I was told how evil and borderline sinful it is to do this. That only gentiles, heathens and harlots (yes they said it like that) pierced their bodies.
I only got my ears pierced when I was sixteen and that's only because my Aunt did took me to do it.
I'll keep you updated on what she says when she sees it..

I'm usually a nice person-- but there are times I wonder if "stupid" is being handed out somewhere...

I get a lot of questions in my chosen profession(i won't say with fear I'll get dooced) .. and i've come to the conclusion that people don't think before they speak.
