So we are sitting in our living room when we hear sirens and helicopters .. all the fun sounds of the city.. They block off our street so we leave to get some ice cream. The irony is not lost on us.

Kansas City police are looking for two men and an ice cream truck today after a shooting left one man wounded.
The shooting occurred about 7:30 p.m. Sunday near 54th Street and Woodland Avenue. Police said two men were standing at the street corner when the ice cream truck approached.
One of the occupants of the truck then shot at the victims, hitting one of them. The victim's injuries were not life-threatening, police said today. The suspects escaped in the treat-filled truck.
