little dogs

Little dogs have a complex-- they think they are bigger and rougher than they really are..
Take for instance my dog Bella(yorkie mix) -- she trys to go head to head with the pitbulls in our loft building.. she starts growling and tries to lunge at them. They look at her and seem to roll their eyes. Now we have the dog owners in the building talking about us because of her attitude problem. If you don't believe me about little dogs check out this "incident" that happened in California with a cop and an angry pack of Chihuahuas.

It's no wonder they feel this way.. read this ... it's funny but maybe a little crude.. so if you don't like crude don't read it.. however it will make you pee your pants.

Pushing up Daisy's

Why isn't everyone watching this???
Daisy Does America is a new reality comic series starring British society gal Daisy Donovan as she sets out across the country to become the next All-American Girl.
Basically Daisy is making fun of America and she's doing a great job of it. One week she's at a hoedown trying to win a country record deal the next she trying to make it as a rapper in Compton. It's hilarious because eveyone else thinks she for real and she never says 'I'm just kidding'.
It's on the TBS station..
Daisy Does America
comes from executive producers
Courteney Cox and David Arquette of Coquette Production

An apple a day

Is anyone else happy about this?
I found what I realllllly want for Christmas....

Christmas

Another year is almost up and it's Christmas week!! I can't even believe how quick this year flew by. This is the time where I start thinking about what I did with my year... Did I use my time effectively? Did I have fun? Did I help someone on their journey?

I was telling a friend yesterday that I haven't had time to think about Christmas.. I've been so busy "planning" Christmas that I feel like I haven't had time to soak in the reason we celebrate..
So my promise to myself is to take some time everyday to remember.. To really take in this whole season--not just gifts and corny songs..but the real deal of it all.

U2

Wednesday Doug and I got a phone call from a friend asking if we wanted to go see U2 in St.louis .. They had 4 tix free for us to use.. when does that happen?
The opener was Kanye West-- who this was his 1st night out on tour with the band.. He was on fire.. I LOVE him .
U2 came out and there were some sound problems and it seemed like they were having trouble getting it going but -- they started to bring it up (like I knew they would) and it was so much fun!!
Of course I snuck my camera in(took a little finesse) -but our seats were pretty high up (can't complain they were free) so you can't see too much detail....but you get the point..

Doug and I were laughing because we called some of our friends and no one could go on such short notice.. And we realized that we are all getting old(we thought about it too-but this is once in a lifetime).. I just remember in college we would drop anything and drive all night to do something fun and crazy.. I want to continue to be young and carefree.

imij is everything

It has become apparent to me that I have to take this photography thing seriously... Everytime I think that I might let it go I book another shoot--I can't say no to someone in need.
I love it -meeting new people, creating memories- and i've learned so much. So i've been working under this name but -- I'm going to start telling folks about it. Imij Photography is the name and I will be updating the website soon.. www.imijfoto.com you can click on the "see your photos" link and you can see some pics I've taken .. you can take a look at some other photos by clicking on the flicker badge(the one w/all the changing pics) in the right margin..

It's kinda of different when you start doing the thing you love. It's like you birthed it (not that I would know-just assuming) --it such a sensitive thing to talk about. Well, just keep me in your thoughts and prayers as I venture out.. No -i'm not quiting my job (i'm blessed to be using all my gifts and have a job that allows me to pursue more)
