I have been waiting for this for months it is going to be a blast... She is one of my favorite photgraphers.. she shoots with such ease and she has fun..

Annie Leibovitz is coming to Kansas City for once in a lifetime event showcasing her book: A Photographer's Life: 1990-2005

Who: Annie Leibovitz, Internationally Respected Photographer and Bestselling Author of American Music: Photographs, ; Women, Annie Leibovitz: Olympians, Annie Leibovitz: Photographs, 1970-1990, and Photographs

What: Annie Leibovitz will join us in a Once-In-A-Lifetime Multimedia Presentation for her new book, A Photographer's Life: 1990-2005, "I don’t have two lives," Annie Leibovitz writes in the Introduction to this collection of her work from 1990—2005. "This is one life, and the personal pictures and the assignment work are all part of it." The images form a narrative rich in contrasts and continuities: The photographer has a long relationship that ends with illness and death. She chronicles the celebrations and heartbreaks of her large and robust family.

When: Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art and Rainy Day Books Author Event, Now on Friday, January 19, 2007, at 7:00 PM.
